I knew I was in trouble when Jon won, but I'm glad he at least nominated me so I could play in veto.
Unfortunately, I have a problem at the moment. Some thunderstorms went through earlier and killed my internet. It's been storming on and off all day and I'm not sure when it will come back. I'm on a poor mobile signal now but what is the exact deadline for the veto and would an extension be possible? Thanks!
8:52 is the deadline, but yes. you may get an extension. I don't think we can hold this off till tomorrow evening, but for the rest of the night and possibly early morning? Keep us updated.
Thanks! I have Comcast Internet/cable, and they both went out. Some of the TV channels are starting to come back so hopefully internet restores soon. If not, I'll go out tomorrow morning and find a computer and Wifi to do it on.
I've seen Jon online plenty of times. Neither of us message each other, and that makes me feel that he's comfortable right now. The frustrating thing is that I feel like his original house is completely united whereas my original house isn't that tight, and we're making moves and going against each other unnecessarily while players like Jon capitalize. I'm a challenge threat, and I pose a danger to Jon and his house so it makes sense that I will be the target this vote if I don't get off the block. I think the only way to do it is to win veto and then try to organize a resistance against the better positioned players in the house.
Results of veto are extremely encouraging. I do hate it for Michelle because I don't think there will be any way to keep her safe now and she's been social enough that I don't feel she deserves to go, but sides have been declared at this point. I hope both Keith and Nick are able to stay safe over on the other house as replacements because my original house needs all the challenge strength we can possibly get for next round and they have potential along with me and Heaven.
I believe my angle to survive in this game is being one of the lead figures and challenge strengths for my original house. I know I'm a major target and will likely go up whenever someone on the other house wins from now on. If I can work on strengthening my original's houses connection then I can hopefully establish comfort as long as one of them wins because they'll see the benefit of keeping me around since I'll keep them safe and I'll end up going on the block over them in the future.
I haven't given up on working with the original other house at some point, and I hope to make some more social bonds over there as we get closer to jury if I'm still around. However I need to be focused on surviving week to week right now as I've always found it more difficult to make long-term plans in Big Brother. Last week I played it completely safe with Memphis when I felt vulnerable, and this week I won a critical competition. We'll see what next week brings.
I think the weather's stabilized, but if I happen to lose power and completely disappear then I'm using veto to save myself and letting Jon pick the replacement. I'm sure I'll be able to post this myself tomorrow though.
