Heyo everybody! Let's just say WOWZA! This game has been crazy haha. The first half of the game blew past all of us like a flash of light but those of us in the second half could feel it winding down and getting tougher as we moved on. I never expected to be sitting here in the finale b/c I felt certain powers working against me and also the peeps that I considered my closest allies very early on. In a sense, I won the competitions in the second half that I needed to win in order to be sitting right here to plead my case b/c of the early competitive game I played in not holding back.
Now it would be obvious to say that the competishes were my best friend this season. I have the mentality to NEVER throw competitions and always give ALL of em my everything as if it were my last chance to stay in the game. I played every competish this way b/c I wanted to put myself in decision making roles in order to see things play out the way I wanted them to. I have been in games were competish wins aren't respected but fact is that they do have a heavy role in how things pan out for the individual winning and also for the peeps they are protecting (espesh in BB). The peeps that I found myself protecting and keeping safe the most were Kaysar, Keith and Hayls. These 3 were the ones I felt myself largely aligned to near the end of the 2nd half (2 of em I felt I could trust, the other 1 I couldn't see ever getting me out even tho they wanted to) but I ALSO had strong bonds with Lane and Memphis who I extremely liked on a personal level.
Being such a large threat in the comps meant that I had to really kill these challs in order to stick around. I am not gonna sit here and sugar coat anything and say that I would have been JUST FINE had I not won the comps in the end. Hahah my ass would have been TOAST - I have said it and I'll say it again.. I woulda voted me out too! This is why I didn't make this game personal when peeps I felt I was protecting were debating on sending me home. I will say that in the rounds I was vulnerable my social tries were strong enough however to keep me safe during those particular rounds.. a good example being my relationship with Memphis. He had a great chance of sending me out in Round #6 but had the final noms sit at Hayley vs. Kathy after Kaysar took himself off.
Buuuut let's not forget my nifty lil Special PoV! It was no easy task to get that thing lol - in fact it was a whole BUNCH of lil tasks. I had to go through a ton of tasks in order to get the chance of retrieving it which involved me posting over and over in my DR at the very end for it to physically pop up. Remember that "Life Alert" thread? Lol that was one of the tasks I had to do!
I talked in large with most of ya sitting on the Jury, espesh early on. The only 2 that I struggled in conversations with from my end were Nick and Jon. I didn't know where the 2 of em were at a majority of the game (credit to em!) and that was the main reason I stuck Nick on the block initially. Jon on the other hand was someone I saw in an all guys alliance. During the game it started to become a lil obvious that the guys had something and that they were working together. It was then hat I started sharing these feelings with Mama Kathy, Ally Dubz and Hayls. There was always a similar formula for the noms haha that followed loosely along the lines of "Kaysar+Girl=Noms; Kaysar Wins PoV = Girl Goes Up; Girl Goes Home." Kaysar was always going up and Keith was always badmouthed and strung along for being seen as weak and socially disliked. The girls and I did not see them as part of whatever the guys maybe had going on so I stuck close to them and was weary of all the guys but still tried to maintain my relationships with Lane/Memphis.
During the game I did not have many alliances.. many of em were unspoken or there was a "mutual understanding" between me and the other person. Only a small handful of you I had verbalized deals with. I know Benedict and I had one going for us, being the 2 British representatives! I had one with Ally Dubz, one with Hayls, one with Kaysar, and one with Kathy that we ended up making after we realized it made more sense to try and work together instead of against one another. That is 5 1-on-1 deals (most established BEFORE the 2nd half) and the only one I discussed a hard F2 with was Hayls. Even though I felt very close to Lane and Memphis, there wasn't anything "official" or said iirc, but there was an understanding that we would keep each other safe. The same kinda went with Keith too. The only legitimate and named group alliance I had through most of the game was that lolsy "Blaque Alliance" with Keith and Topaz which died when Topaz got the axe near the end.
So this is a lot of things in summary and prob some things left out but I hope to cover any specifics you want answered from your questions! I look forward to reading and responding to all of ya. Thanks for taking the time to read!
