Sorry i'm late to the party, but I figured it was still okay to post before your Final Statements are made!

First off, congrats to both of you!  IMO, you both played great games and would be deserving winners.

Keith, first off, congrats on making it to the end against the odds!

I had such a hard time trusting you in this game, but honestly, I felt that way with everyone.  You said that I held my cards too close, but as soon as I let my cards show at all I was evicted.  I think that spending almost all of the premerge as either HoH or a nominee really did a number on my game.  

The entire game I was trying to distance myself from you while still keeping you as a shield (and I think half the cast was trying to use you as a shield!)  I felt that you would only make my target bigger, so I just tried to keep loose ties, until I backdoored Ryan.  Even at that point, I still didn't set anything solid with you simply because you were always so shifty with me.

My question to you is: How should I have played our relationship differently so that there could be some trust between us?  Even though I know you out of the game, I just couldn't figure out how to interact with you in the game.


Heaven, you were possibly my favorite person to talk to in this game (with you competition being Hayley and Kenny).  Once we set up our deal, I opened up to you more than I opened up to anyone else the whole game.

I want to set something straight that Keith said in another thread; you were the reason that I backdoored Ryan, not Keith.  The only other person that I would give some credit to is Nick (who I was SHOCKED to find out was in the BND alliance because of how hard he pushed for Ryan to go up!) If it hadn't been for our connection before the veto comp, there is no doubt that I would have put up Keith and tried to get in good with the guys.

Your game is pretty straightforward, so I don't really have any questions, so I'll just throw a lob ball your way.  Who was the most important person to you in the game?  Basically, what person would you have not made it to the end without?

Kathy, firstly I'll say that I agree with a good bit of the points you made. You got a raw deal.

I did not mean to imply that I masterminded your backdoor of Ryan, and I'd like to correct the sentiment. My point was supposed to be "I kept Kathy, and it worked out for me later because she backdoored Ryan when people were pressuring her to backdoor me". It was supposed to show that I made a decision that paid off for me. I don't think I could've trusted Kenny like that.

The next few paragraphs get a little ~real~ but I had to bite my tongue with the things you said to me during the game and I feel it's important for me to stand up for myself now. I tried to minimize my rambling.

I was frustrated by how little you would talk to me in this game. I was actually really excited to work with you, and I was always the one to IM you. I was always the one to ask you questions about your life, to get to know you. We've "known" each other for a long time but I really didn't know you that well and I genuinely wanted to. Given you know me outside of the game, you know I rarely care enough to ask people about who they are, etc. It sucked, because you never seemed interested, even before I started pissing people off. Before I decided to keep you, I told you that I trusted you and you didn't tell me the same. You gave me no reason to keep you, and I wanted to work with you, but you would never really bite. After his eviction you were already associated with me, whether you liked it or not. When Michelle and I worked together to keep you- she was immediately targeted and sent out. You didn't nominate me when you were HoH. You had a Keith stamp on you, but you really can't blame me for your position in the game. That's unfair to me, especially because after I kept you- you came to me and let me know how much of a chore it was to not nominate me. I don't think many people in this game had strong feelings toward me overall tbh, and I don't think that keeping me safe is why you got evicted early.

When you won your second HoH, I told you my suggestion and didn't speak game to you after that. It was the strategy I had with everyone. "Tell them what I think, and don't speak of it again unless they bring it up". I had already given up at getting anything out of you, especially trust. You made the decision to nominate Heaven & Allison in order to try to come across more neutral (I assume), but I don't think that mattered because you weren't social with the people you were keeping safe. I was social, even if people didn't like me, I'd force them to talk to me. That's what I mean by cards, I guess. Memphis would have to clarify what was going on in his head, but you have to remember he chose to get you out instead of me. At that point, we were evenly matched in competitions and there was no way Memphis was going to use me as a shield- he was a bigger target than either of us. I'd like to think that Memphis made an investment in keeping me in, which paid off for him way down the road. Even with all the things you call me, I made myself open and available- and I stayed.

I remember something you said the round Benedict left, and it was "Why does everyone hate you?" and it wasn't really said in some sort of playful way- you wanted to take a jab at me. I thought it was kind of unnecessary and I still feel like the reason we didn't connect is because you didn't want to.

I understand that I am not the most likable person, but I can't sit here and say that I deserved to be called shifty by you. I was honest. I was looking out for you, against all the apathy and distance you had toward me and I can't think of a single thing that I could've done to make that more clear. I told you I didn't trust Heaven, and I told you that I was wary of Kaysar when he went inactive.

I hope that you don't get take what I'm saying as a rant against you, but I did not want to end this without my point being super clear: I am a cool dude who deserves more credit

You know that I was completely out of the loop all game, and I was genuinely curious. From my POV, it seemed like everyone hated you, but I had no idea why...

I guess in summary, if you didn't feel comfortable with me then I don't know if there's anything you and I could've done to make things work better. I think in a different game with a different vibe things would probably be better

Mama K we seriously had one of the most unusual relationships ever and I loved every min of it haha. What started as he-said/she-said caused me to put you on the block. A week later you won and repaid the favor and stuck me up. EYE FOR AN EYE! But when I won PoV we sorta came to an understanding.. that it would be much smarter to work together than against each other. Nobody was going to think that we were close after just nomming one another.

It was so fkin weird haha b/c I was telling you things too that I wasn't even telling Kaysar or Keith who I was also semi close with, although I had suspected Keith was the one that was saying things to you when I was HoH and that I was "targeting" you when I REALLY wasn't lol. I remember you said someone had told you and I asked who it was and you didn't wanna say (understandably) and then a sec later Keith msgs me asking about it lol. ETCH A SKETCH KEITH was at it again!

Thank you for pointing that out regarding the BD Ryan plan! We were really discussing the likelihood of guys all being together that round and I remember us both coming to the agreement that Ry was the best choice to go, espesh when he said he woulda voted to evict you if he hadn't forgotten to the round before when it was you and Kenny on the block. I also remember you telling me that Nick was pushing HARD for Ryan to go up and that is a LARGE part of why I never suspected Nick and didn't nom him in the blackout week.

Your question for me is a tricky one b/c I felt that the person changed throughout the game. I think toward the end the person that proved very important to me was Kaysar. Kaysar wasn't socially strong at all lol but he was someone that won comps and that would keep me safe. I couldn't participate in back to back HoHs and Kaysar stepped up when I was not able or eligible to at the end. I kept him safe and he kept me safe. At THAT point I had already built a resume of competition wins and for someone to help keep me safe was a blessing but it became a curse as he was also my biggest physical competition. But I don't doubt for a sec that Kaysar woulda taken me out had the roles been reversed at the F4. It would have been much harder for me to make the end if I didn't have him there helping with the physical aspect.
